Shipping Policy




Due to perishable nature, we only ship plants with Australia Post Express postage. There are 3 types of shipping fee:

1.   Express Postage for plant items - $18 per order.

2.   Normal Postage for non-plant items - $8 per order. In case of ordering non-plant items together with plants, the shipping fee will be based on plant express postage. 

3.   Free shipping - For buying gift cards only. Gift card code will be sent to you via email after purchasing.


Shipping fees includes postage, packaging materials and packing time. Orders cannot be combined after checking out. To fully benefit from shipping cost, please make sure that you have all products you want to purchase in one order.


Tropical Plant Empire is currently unable to ship plants outside Australia, also not ship to WA, TAS and NT (due to Quarantine Restriction).


Parcels will not be shipped to P.O.BOXes. We require a valid residential or business address for shipping. This is to protect customers from possible loss of parcels.

Delivery time:

All plants will be sent using Australia Post Express Post. Customers in metropolitan capital cities, Australia Post Express Post will usually arrive no longer than 3 business days. For those in rural areas, slight delay may occur (between 7-12 days).


Pick up:


Tropical Plant Empire is fully operated as an online business running from our private residence.  We do not have a shop front to facilitate items pick up.


All tracking details and delivery option links will be sent to such numbers and/or emails by Australia Post. In this regard, it is crucial to provide a valid mobile number and email address at check out.

Invalid mobile number may result in an extra fee for re-delivery. This extra fee will be liable to customers. 

Your mobile number will be not used for any other purpose than to send your tracking details.


Destination address:


Tropical Plant Empire will ship parcel to the address specified at check out. Therefore, please ensure to enter a correct address. Wrong address may result in lost/stolen parcel or extra fee, applied to buyer, if redirection is required. In case of lost / stolen parcels resulting from wrong address, Tropical Plant Empire will not be able to refund or replace the plants.

Return & Refund Policy

All sales after check out process are final. Under Australian Consumer Law, we do not accept returns for change of mind. If you believe the item/s you received are significantly different than described or faulty please contact us. We are more than happy to work with you to find a happy solution. The refund, if valid, will entitle for plant cost only, less postage and handling costs.


Returns and refunds will not be accepted for items damaged during transit. In case you would like to claim for a damage during transit, please contact Australia Post for reimbursement. However, the refund judgement and decision will entirely up to Australia Post. Tropical Plant Empire will not be able to responsible for such claim.

Paypal, Credit card and debit card are accepted. Bank transfer is applicable for wholesale or bulk purchase only.
