Variegated Hoya Hindu Rope (Hoya Carnosa Compacta Variegata)

 

The thick, twisted, curly, cupped leaves with make this hoya distinctive. The unique foliage is edged with creamy white and pink variegation, with entire stems occasionally emerging pure pink or white.

 

Variegated Hoya Hindu Rope makes an excellent hanging plant because the rope-like vines of foliage naturally cascade as they grow long.  Eventually, lovely clusters of fragrant, star-shaped waxy flowers may emerge between the leaves. 

 

Growing Conditions

Light:            Grow best in bright indirect light. In lows light, a Hindu Rope                       plant may never bloom.

Water:           Let soil dry between watering

Humidity:      No need

Soil:              A very well-drained potting mix or cactus potting mix

Level of Care:     Easy. Very low maintenance.

Toxic to pets:      No
