The Silver Sword has long silver, almost metallic-looking foliage. The juvenile leaves start as a pale metallic grey and become a deeper blue colour as the plant matures. As it is a climbing tropical plant, this philodendron performs well in a pot with a totem. The totem allows for natural growth and a larger, healthier plant.
Light: This Philodendron requires 70-85% light but not direct light. All day bright, filtered position is the best. Avoid harsh direct sunlight as it can burn the leaf.

Humidity requirement: Moderate
Growing medium: Loose, well-drained medium with high organic matter.
Level of Care: Easy, Low maintenance, suitable for beginner
Ferilizer: Fertilize sparingly at least 6 inches away from the base, tri-annually with a slow time released product.
